Frisbee

Unfortunately, you found today what a factor the wind can be with frisbee units.

Students can be reminded to dress appropriately for outdoor activities.

I would dismiss the students from the locker room right to the fields, charging them with being careful with crossing the street.  The ritual of meeting them in the gym is not conducive to our time spent on the activity.

Full Class Interactive Games

Always use any game to reinforce basic throwing techniques.

With a game like this, where teams try and get to another side, just have the students stay on their new side to restart the next game.  Thinking of this game and Team Tag, for examples.

Make sure that when students get to their desired side, that they don't sit out and be in an unsafe position.

It's fun to have objects like frisbees and nerf footballs to throw in this game, as a change up. In fact, all can be mixed together.

STILL PARRC

This was a good activity for this group and class size. It held their interest, they were competitive, and utilized previously learned skills. That said, I would still get them into the actual activity quicker.  They've had this unit recently.f

I questioned a student about the scoring. They gave me the correct answer, which meant you explained it to them thoroughly.

The locker room fiasco this morning lends credence to the importance of non-teaching duties such as locker room supervision.

Frisbee

You seemed most comfortable teaching frisbee today.

You may have been doing this, but I can't emphasize enough, to stress landmarks. These are really important with the follow through, especially.

I'd space the students out further, both lengthwise as a group,and if desired, length of throws.

Week after vacation

Make the students get as close to a normal rotation as possible.

Try to make corrections with what students should do, rather than "don't" do this.
