Indoor Frisbee

Since I was upstairs watching the class, I didn't hear whether the students could throw/catch a bouncing frisbee. If not, consider making that an element of the game.

I am ambivalent about the mats folded up in the back. On one hand, they represent a possible tripping hazard. On the other, they can be used for students to elevate themselves to catch the frisbee.  Either way, make sure the students are aware of the mats.

Along those same lines, sometimes when playing this game, I'll put an unfolded mat out perpendicular to the end line. This is generally to help a team that is getting crushed.  It provides them with extra and shorter space.

This is a game that almost always necessitates having extra Frisbees around.

This was a fine alternative for a rainy day, while still keeping to the activity.

Interactive Games Keeper of the Rings

Nice job bringing the boys back on board with listening.

Also, good job with reminding the students about the two main safety rules with this game.

If you could hear the difference between your voice projection now, versus 6 weeks ago, you'd be very encouraged.

That was a great game today. I'm glad you got to see what a good group can do with this game.

Last Week Team Handball

The game today was very good, much better than expected. It's starting to become difficult this time of year to keep the students motivated. This is due to the students seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, the testing situation, and the increasing heat.

Last Week Basketball

The weave is probably too difficult for those low level folks. They can do a lot more in the way of dribbling and passing drills. I'd spend two days with each of these skills.  Also, within these areas, we can introduce pivoting.

Last Week Frisbee

Great job getting the students out early. Having them meet in the gym for attendance is an unnecessary waste of time.

Last Week Frisbee

You might have to actively recruit some classes for a relatively new game like Ultimate.

Last Week Interactive Games

Good job setting up the game in a quick manner.  Sometimes, PE teachers talk for longer than necessary.

These games are safe choices as far as the enjoyment of the students and they are part of our existence here. When you are on your own, consider some small group activities and problem solving events.
A valiant effort in keeping score! Consider having an excused or an unprepared student man the scoreboard.

Last Week Team Handball

I've been giving you the full "soup to nuts" experience over the last two weeks. You've been doing a great job with non-teaching tasks. Use responsible students occasionally for some of your equipment needs.

Basketball Shooting

Insist on no ball bouncing when you're trying to speak to the class.

I queried a couple of students, the cookie jar analogy was good.  They spoke to me about the dominant hand being under the ball and the non-dominant on the side.
